Der Hauptdeckel des Behälters kann nach dem Entsichern komplett geöffnet werden, was eine problemlose Entsorgung von grösseren Gegenstanden ermöglicht. Für den Abwurf von Spritzen, Kanülen oder kleineren Gegenstnden nutzt man die kleine runde Offnung im Hauptdeckel. Der spezielle V_Schlitz ermöglicht eine Abtrennung der Kanule von der Spritze ohne direkten Kontakt und eine blitzschnelle Entsorgung Von beiden Spritzenteilen in die Abwurfbox. Sollte dergeÓffnete Entsorgungsbehálter bei der Manipulation plötzlich umkippen, gibt es zwei am Deckel befestigte "Flütigelchen" welche nach dem Abwurf immer sofort wieder selbständing hochklappen und somit den lnhalt gegen das Herausfallen zusätzlich schutzen.
Zum vollständigen VerschlieBen der kleinen runden Öffnung dient ein kleiner Deckel, welcher entlang seiner ganzen Fläche mit Sicherung gegen das selbständige Öffnen versehen ist.
